Mutator Genes - Reversed Snake

Mutator Genes is our GMTK 2023 Project.

The form of the game is much like a "Snake" game except that player controls the food that is eaten by the snake. In terms of the theme, we choose to discuss the microcosm of human beings—genes. The “food” is bases which make up codons of genes, and the snake is exactly the DNA structure. Player behaviours would influence the codons' synthesis and eventually shape the appearence of the host. There are 6 endings in the jam release version of our game. Please feel free to download and try it out!
